Wham City Lights is the world’s leading platform for crowd engagement at concerts and live events. Since 2012, our unique mobile app experiences have been deployed by Cirque du Soleil, Disney, Demi Lovato, the NHL and many others, and enjoyed by tens of millions of people around the globe.

We are currently in the early stages of rebooting our brand to express an expanded vision of how technology can augment live experiences. We need you to work directly with our CEO to craft a new brand. You will focus on client-facing touchpoints—including our marketing website, sales process, and onboarding & deployment process. Your visual branding will help surmount the popular misconception that technology is isolating, and use it to connect people.

The role:

  • Work with our CEO and his management team to rebrand the company
  • Craft our customer experience across all touchpoints: web, decks, onboarding, etc.
  • Lead art direction while building & delivering brand assets
  • Work with our part-time Junior Designer to help execute your brand vision
  • Define brand guidelines for use by our engineering and product teams

About you:

  • A strong interest in music or live events, either professionally or personally
  • Portfolio of original work, much of it related to technology, music, or entertainment
  • BFA/MFA preferred, ideally in Visual Communication, Advertising or Design
  • The ability to make sophisticated technology accessible and understandable
  • Proven teamwork skills, flexibility, and a strong self-motivated and driven nature
  • Highly organized and able to balance multiple simultaneous projects

Backed by top NYC investors, we’ve grown to 10 employees and profitability, and are now ready for a full-time designer to take our brand to the next level.
